Together with owner Mulleners Vastgoed and operator Black Label Hotels, Dols is creating a unique look for the new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. With a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel as the new destination for 't Kleesj, a piece of Limburg history is being given a new lease of life in Sittard. With respect for the original identity, the former school building is gradually being transformed into a full-fledged hotel.

With its 73 years of operations and Sittard roots, Dols is one of the regional parties collaborating on the project. Together with the clients Mulleners Vastgoed and Black Label Hotels, Dols has supplied not only the furniture but also the interior design for this project.

The DoubleTree hotel – boasting 90 hotel rooms, a restaurant, bar and fitness – will soon officially open its doors.

Together with regional partners, including Soons (custom work), De Grave (floor coverings and curtains), Gebroeders Janssen (wooden parquet floors), the design is currently being realised.

Typical elements that emphasise the building's long history have been carefully combined with contemporary design. The charming arches, yellow wall tiles and stained-glass windows have been retained. This will give DoubleTree by Hilton in Sittard a unique atmosphere, with a nod to the past.
